Poem 276 - Lost In His World

Image from Magpie Tales

Lost in his world, he did not notice the waiter waiting
So many food items, but had to choose by price
Just a couple of notes in his hand he was clutching
So while choosing he had to be wise

The waiter grinned, looking at the boy lost in confusion
He coughed, to offer his help, but the boy absent-minded, shook his head
For he wanted to make his own decision
Lost in his world, still the waiters presence, in his thoughts did not spread

  3. His guardian angel, that waiter. I wonder why the boy's eating alone...

  4. Yes, the boy does indeed look lost in thought. Sometimes decisions are hard.
