Poem 269 - Lights In The Water

Beauty of the night
At the obon festival
Lights in the water

Beautiful waters
Reflection of lights like stars
Lanterns bob about

I offer mine too
A small white paper lantern
Among some thousands
~Gaurang Rao

Obon festival or bon festival is a three day festival celebrated in Japan, which includes a special dance and floating lanterns.
