Poem 120 - Why die?

Tsunami in Japan, due to earthquake
Serious actions against this, we need to take
Hope and Pray that not many people die
In fact, to help them we should try

Oh! What a terrible calamity
And it is such a pity
That people died because of the Tsunami
When? Will it be a happier, merrier country?
-Gaurang Rao
Let us all pray for the people in Japan and hope that they are safe.

  6. Gaurang,
You have put into words, the very finest feelings that we all feel, for the poor victims of all that has passed in Japan.
I hope and pray too, for better times ahead for all those who must carry on afterwards.

    Best wishes, Eileen

  11. What a poignant and beautiful poem for a time of heartbreak and sadness for so many people.

I hope that joy comes out of all the suffering at some point.

For now, though, I think all we do is pray for a country filled with courageous people showing honor in spite of tragedy.

    This was wonderful.

    Thank you for linking.

    A+
