Poem 132 - The single cup

A Large box, containing nine cups made of glass
All nine sitting on the table, being used each time a person did pass
Either filled with juice, cocktail or wine
All were used, all of the nine

Suddenly, a man drunk dropped all cups, except the one in his hand
Broken glass pieces and juice and wine was all over the land
The single cup containing a drink
Now standing on the table the glass did think

Should he be happy to be saved? Or sad to have lost some friends?
But there it stood, thinking of his luck and his friends ends
The only cup stood there, now not being used at all
Stood there alone, stood there on the table looking tall
