Is it easy -as letting go of balloons as to let go of your suspicions?
For your mind will always have those doubtful visions
For there is always someone you want to blame
From the bottom of your heart you want to bring out that name
Maybe you're right, maybe you're wrong
But don't hold your suspicions for too long
You'll have too much to worry about, just let it go
Don't let your suspicions grow
Doubts will arise, push it aside
For you don't have that much time to bide
So let it go, and enjoy one more doubtless day
You never know where the end of your line may lay.

ReplyDeleteBeautifully composed poem, Gaurang. Inspired by your poem, I am letting go of my suspicions relating to bottles of rum
ReplyDeleteSuspicions, as with worry, are vain pursuits. You get nothing from them but a troubled soul...so, yes, let them go!
ReplyDeleteI like the idea of not letting suspicions grow. We have to let them go before they get out of hand and take over our mind and poison it. Thanks for taking part in Poetry Jam.
ReplyDeleteIt is so easy to blame, but I always have some part in it. Best to make amends & let it go.
ReplyDeletenice to see you here Gaurang ...let go of suspicion and enjoy more space to breathe...nice lines...
ReplyDeleteGreat poem, Gaurang! I like the idea of letting go of suspicions lest one might forget to enjoy life.
ReplyDeleteWonderful poem, Gaurang. Modern life has made us very suspicious and cautious and often quick to attribute blame. Allowing ourselves the benefit of the doubt and letting go of negativity can improve our lives.
