This game is played with a heavy ball and a stick

It is not a game where you can freely kick

When you put the ball into the hole

It is like you have scored a goal

You cannot put the ball into water or sand

At least it should fall on a patch of green land

आज मैं सुबह को जब जाग गया

मुझे दिखा एक भारत नया

में रोज़ सवेरे चिड़ियों का गाना सुनता था

मैंने पुछा "कहाँ गए है सब चिड़ियाँ माँ?

क्या वो कभी नहीं आयेंगे?

क्या वो कभी गाना नहीं गायेंगे?

फूल नहीं हैं बगिया में

चुरा लिया है किसने उन्हें?

हम लोग है इस के कारन

जो पेड़ों का हुआ मरण

पेड़ों को मत काटना

बचाने में हाथ बढाना
