Poem 4- Teachers


I like my teachers
they are kind creatures
they always help me
even if i don't pay the fee

Hindi, English or Maths
they always give me pats
they tell us to be serious
but we make them furious

    and they were not actually teachers
    I have known very few teachers
    who had love in their hearts
    I have known very few teachers
    who I did not have to fear
    fortunate are those who have
    And I am glad that you are one.
